Evening and Weekend Appointments

April 2020 - Please note these appointments are temporarily being offered at Dewsbury Health Centre.

We're working together with our neighbouring practices to bring you more appointments when our surgery is closed.

You can arrange to see a doctor or nurse on weekdays after 6.30pm, and on weekends at Liversedge Health Centre.

If you need an appointment at these times, please tell our receptionist who will be able to arrange the appointment for you.

LABORATORY TESTS AND X-RAYSHealth_Centre_007.jpg

Blood samples are taken in clinics with our Phlebotomist or Healthcare Assistants, daily before 2.30pm.

In special circumstances you may visit the hospital for a blood test. Please discuss this with a ember of staff.

Results of routine tests and x-rays take 7—10 days to come back (cervical smears may take several weeks) .

You do not need to contact the surgery for your results.  If the doctor needs to see you, or you need some medication we will contact you.
