FLU VACCINATIONS

Protect yourself against flu this winter - ask about our flu vaccination clinics for eligible patients.

Please contact the surgery to check if you are eligible for a flu vaccination.

Evening and Weekend Appointments

We're working together with our neighbouring practices to bring you more appointments when our surgery is closed.

From 1st August 2019 you will be able to see a doctor or nurse on weekdays after 6.30pm, and on weekends at Liversedge Health Centre.

If you need an appointment at these times, please tell our receptionist who will be able to arrange the appointment for you.

Travel Vaccinations

Due to high demand for long term condition appointments with our practice nurses, we regret that we are no longer able to offer a full travel vaccination service.

We currently only offer the following vaccinations for travel:

  • Cholera
  • Hepatitis A
  • Paratyphoid
  • Poliomyeltis
  • Smallpox
  • Typhoid

If you require any of these vaccination please complete the Travel Assessment Form below and hand in to the surgery at least 8 weeks before you plan to travel. We cannot guarantee an appointment with less than 8 weeks' notice and recommend that you contact a local travel clinic.

We strongly advise that you seek advice from a local pharmacy or travel clinic regarding any additional vaccinations that you may require.

Information about which immunisations are required for the countries you are travelling to can be found here: http://www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk/home.aspx
